Questions?

Let's start with some frequently asked questions:

Is there a cost when I discuss health plan options with you?
No, there is no cost. All consultations are free of charge.

Do you offer a variety of plans?
Yes, I can compare various plans to help fit your needs the best.

How can I be assured you provide the best options and service?
Unlike most independent insurance brokers, I only focus on Medicare insurance.  I work with many insurance providers to give you the best options across those providers.

How can I ensure my doctors are in the health plan?
Medicare Part C Advantage plans have different networks of doctors and hospitals, premiums, cost-sharing and extra services. Working with an insurance advisor that specializes in these plans is a great way to make sure you are considering all options and benefits before choosing an insurance plan.

Is there a late enrollment penalty if someone does not sign up for Medicare?
Yes, there is a late enrollment penalty if an individual does not sign up when first eligible and does not have other creditable coverage.

What if I am still working at age 65 and on employer coverage?
If someone has other creditable coverage, such as large employer insurance, Medicare can be delayed past 65.

Is there an enrollment period when someone turns 65?
Most people become eligible and sign up for Medicare when they turn 65.  There is a 7-month initial enrollment period, which is 3 months before your birth month, your birth month, and 3 months after your birth month.
